How to play

 Objective

  • Collect ‘Who Here?’ cards, be the first player to collect enough cards to win, and earn the title of ‘supreme galactic champion’ of the party.

 Preparation

  • Determine how many cards it takes to win (for example five)
  • Choose a player to be the first judge

 Gameplay

  • The first judge selects any card from the deck, reads it aloud (beginning with the phrase ‘who here’), and gives the card to whomever he/she thinks the card best applies to. Players are encouraged to state reasons/examples why they deserve the card. The judge cannot assign the card to themselves. Game play moves clockwise, with the next player becoming the judge for the next hand.

 Winning the game

  • The game continues until a player has collected a enough cards to win.

 Game Modifiers (optional)

  • Poll the audience: give players a chance to prove why they deserve the card
  • First impressions: assign the card without player input (and explain why they get it)
  • Inversion: assign the card to the least applicable player
  • Full deck: play until the deck is gone; the player with the most cards wins!
  • No partners: Players are barred from assigning cards to their partner/significant other
  • Shenanigans rule: If a player disagrees with the Judge’s assignment, he/she can call ‘shenanigans’ and protest. If at least two-thirds of the players believe the card was assigned incorrectly AND agree who the card should be assigned to, the agreed upon player gets the card.
